Tony retired from the position as Head of Retirement Planning for AIB Private Wealth / Private Banking, in December2021. Prior to this position he was Head of Staff Pensions for AIB Group, where he managed the in- house administration of the AIB schemes whilst also acting as company secretary to the four Pension Trustee Boards, involving both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, in Ireland and the UK. Tony has significant in-depth experience in group pensions (both segregated and insured schemes), retail individual pensions and bespoke pensions including small, self-administered schemes. In his early years he was Pensions Development Manager for Hibernian Life moving from therein the mid 90’s to bancassurance Ark Life AIB.
